Bank of the Bahamas is helping the Royal Bahamas Police Force (RBPF) to provide safe and stimulating activities for youth ages 8-17 this summer in the RBPF’s summer youth programme. The six week programme began in July with the mission of positively engaging youth and inspiring them to reach their full potential as productive citizens.
Of the programme’s sixteen youth camps throughout the islands, nine are once again being sponsored by Bank of The Bahamas. With BOB’s support the Royal Bahamas Police Force is giving youth a valuable opportunity to participate in exciting educational activities, field trips and outings while learning important life skills such as conflict resolution.
“Bank of the Bahamas is fully committed to youth development and crime prevention and, therefore, we are delighted to assist the Police in providing a safe and positive environment for our youth this summer,” said Dominique Thompson, Marketing Manager, Bank of The Bahamas.
The RBPF Youth programme continues until August 9. Pictured from left to right: Sergeant 2552 Pratt, RBPF accepts a sponsorship cheque from Nairoshee Roberts, Accounts Associate, BOB.
