BOB (Bank of The Bahamas Limited) made going back to school a little easier this year for hundreds of children and parents throughout the country. The Bank purchased 5,000 composition books and distributed them along with BOB drawstring bags, pencils and other school supplies to 19 schools in the seven island communities where the bank’s thirteen branches are located. The books were all branded with BOB labels, printed through a partnership with The Nassau Guardian.
“We wanted to help as many students as we could, especially in the Family Islands where it is sometimes more difficult to obtain the necessary supplies,” said Wayde Christie, Chief Officer of Operations Officer, BOB. “All of our branches are reaching out to build and strengthen ties with the community to ensure that our students are well-equipped to receive a good education,” he said.
