BOB WARNS CUSTOMERS ABOUT FAKE WEBSITE

MASQUERADING AS BOB’s CORPORATE WEBSITE

Bank of the Bahamas ("BOB") has become aware of a fake website that is masquerading as the official website of Bank of The Bahamas.

The fake website’s URL or web address www.bahamasbankonline.com/bob is very similar to that of BOB’s legacy website www.bankbahamasonline.com.  At first glance it may appear to be a legitimate BOB banking site, but when you look closely you will see that it is not. The fake website is potentially dangerous because it invites customers to enter their online banking Login details. It also invites customers to register for online banking.

BOB urges customers to avoid this site fake website at all costs.

The only address that should be used to access the real BOB corporate website is www.bankbahamas.com .

Please exercise extreme caution when using the Internet and beware of attempts to fraudulently obtain your account information and other sensitive personal information.
