RITEWEIGH held a free Public Health and Weight Loss Seminar, titled Sustained Solutions Against Obesity, at Centreville Medical Centre on Collins Avenue. The seminar provided a second opportunity this summer to hear the encouraging and heart-warming stories of Bahamians who have lost hundreds of pounds, reversed lifestyle diseases and reclaimed their health and their lives.

The newest RITEWEIGH seminar sponsor is Bank Of The Bahamas (BOB). The bank’s Village Road Branch has come on board to provide loans for medical purposes for qualified persons. With financing, the RITEWEIGH surgical patient may circumvent the year-long waiting and preparation period that is required by certain insurance carriers before surgery. Financial assistance may save lives if circumstances warrant speedier medical intervention. RITEWEIGH was founded by Dr Charles Diggiss.
