Mr. Neil Strachan joined Bank of The Bahamas Limited in November 2018 and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role of Managing Director, having worked for two other financial institutions for over 35 years.

He previously served as Chief Risk Officer for Bank of The Bahamas and held senior positions in Operations, Consumer and Commercial Credit, Marketing and Business Development, Sales and Risk at other institutions during his career.

In his role he will continue to chart the growth of Bank of The Bahamas and build on a strategic platform that is underpinned by customer service, improved efficiencies and sustainable growth.

Mr. Strachan holds a Master of Business Administration and Finance Degree from the University of Miami and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Sociology from the University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma. He is known for his continuous pursuit of knowledge and has completed numerous certifications and training programs.
