BOB is doing its part to ease the burden of back-to-school for lower income families. The bank with a big heart recently provided school supplies to a number of community organizations to assist them with Back- to-School programmes for children in inner city areas of New Providence including Fox Hill, Englerston, Cowpen Road and Kemp Road.
Among the organizations receiving assistance from the bank were St. Paul’s Baptist Church, Thelma Gibson Primary School, Little Growing Minds, the Englerston East Urban Renewal Branch and Gilead International Kingdom Ministries.
“We were happy that we could contribute to a number of programmes working with lower income families and it feels good to know that children from these families will be just as well prepared to meet the new school year as their counterparts,” said Dominique Thompson, Manager, Marketing, BOB,
Donated items included back packs, insulated lunch bags, pencil and pen sets, rulers and composition books.
